VICCC PUBLIC NOTICE OF PETITION FOR RULEMAKING

(St. Croix, USVI – May 14, 2024) – As required by Title 32 Virgin Islands Rules and Regulations §408-3.1(c), the Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission (“Commission”) announces that on May 7, 2024, a Petition for the Adoption of Rules and Regulations Requiring the Implementation of Automatic Card Shuffling Machines at Divi Carina Bay Casino and Phasing Out Manual Card Shuffling was submitted to the offices of the Commission.

In accordance with Title 32 Virgin Islands Rules and Regulations §408-3.1(d), the Commission shall make a subsequent public announcement of the date and time of a regularly scheduled public meeting of the Commission where the submitted petition will be placed on the agenda and where the petitioner(s), as well as those speaking in opposition, shall be given an opportunity to provide testimony regarding the requested rulemaking petition.
