(St. Croix, USVI – February 13, 2022) – The Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission announces that a Commission Meeting and Hearing have been scheduled for 10:00 am Tuesday, March 1, 2022. The Commission will address Administrative Resolutions Issued for Employees Licenses and Gaming and Non-Gaming Related Entity Licenses; receive a status update on the renovations and re-opening of the Divi Carina Bay Beach Resort; hear arguments on Treasure Bay Virgin Islands Corporation’s Motion for Return of Funds; receive an update on casino employees that are non-compliant with Title 32 VIC, Chapter 21 § 518; and hear arguments on the Commission’s Order regarding VIGL Operations, LLC Petition for Extension of Time to Comply with 32 V.I.C § 435 (b)(A).
The meeting will be held at the Eileen Ramona Petersen Casino Control Commission Building located at 3005 Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix. Limited seating will be available to the public and all COVID 19 Pandemic Protocols will be enforced.
