(St. Croix, USVI -July 13, 2022) -The Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission announces that a Commission Meeting and Hearing have been scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, July 28, 2022. The Commission will address Administrative Resolutions Issued for Employees Licenses and Gaming and Non-Gaming Related Entity Licenses; Complaint (Revised) filed by the Division of Gaming Enforcement against Mavidea Technology Group, LLC, casino service industry license (CSE/GR 007-21); Appointment of VICCC Vice-Chairman; a status update from Divi Carina Bay Casino (TBVI) and Resort (GSI) on the ongoing Air Conditioning issues; a status update on the roof at the casino and room repairs at the resort; casino and resort staff shortages; and an update on the unlicensed manufacturers/distributors of gaming machines at Divi Carina Bay Casino. Additionally, the Commission will receive a status update from Caravelle Hotel and Casino (VIGL) regarding the annex expansion of the casino.
The meeting will be held at the Eileen Ramona Petersen Casino Control Commission Building located at 3005 Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix. Limited seating will be available to the public and all COVID 19 Pandemic Protocols will be enforced.
